|Recommended: YesGreat value for the money. — Incredible location, safe and secure.
|Recommended: YesMotor Wheel Lofts are a germ in the Lansing area. — I have lived in my unit at the Motor Wheel Lofts for 2.5 years now and I have loved it. As a graduate student, I value coming home to a space that is warm, welcoming, and peaceful. I have had some issues with noisy neighbors since the wall between my bedroom and their living room kitchen is pretty thin. I can hear almost everything my neighbors say do, but I'm lucky to have quiet neighbors now that aren't a bother at all. Overall, though, I am still extremely pleased with my unit, and the staff maintenance of the building as a whole. This place is truly one-of-a-kind, and I find it's worth every penny
|Recommended: YesMotor Wheel is the place to be — I am so proud to be living at Motor Wheel. All my friends are very impressed when they come to visit for the first time. From the tall ceilings to the granite counter tops, every feature of the floor plan is done well.
Some of my favorite features include the high ceilings, the windows, and the train. The high ceilings make the space feel larger than it really is. The windows are stunning. It is great to be able to look out them and see the capital building. Finally, I think the train is really cool. Maybe it's because I'm an engineer, but looking out the window to see the train passing by while drinking a cup of coffee is a lot of fun. The glass is special and reduces the noise. Most of the time, I don't even notice that the train is going by.
Another big perk to living here is the clientele. Everyone is professional and nice. It's very refreshing to have your neighbors say, good morning or have a good day. It just makes you feel good. Also, I have not had to worry about loud noises or crazy parties while living hear. My last place was closer to campus. Unfortunately, there were a lot of nights where it was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. At Motor Wheel, people are respectful to their neighbors and watch the noise levels -- it also helps that the walls are very well insulated.
Just to debunk a couple things. When I moved into Motor Wheel there were some comments online saying that the leasing staff wasn't very nice. My experience has proved otherwise. Repairs and concerns are handled immediately. The owners are very attentive to the property and want the best for the residents. So, would take the reviews of others with a grain of salt.
Would recommend Motor Wheel to anyone who is looking to spend a little more to enjoy the best living conditions in Lansing. If you are on the fence, I would encourage you to do it.
|Recommended: YesModern Luxury Apartment — I enjoy living at Motor Wheel Lofts and am happy to call it home. The apartments are very upscale containing nice appliances, counter tops, light fixtures, water fixtures, and high ceilings. The apartment paint color scheme consists of neutral earth-like tones. The communal areas are well kept and clean. If you are looking for an upscale, modern luxury apartment, Motor Wheel Lofts is certainly a place that should be considered.
|Recommended: YesUpscale living in the heart of lansing. — Motor Wheel Lofts are unlike anywhere you've ever lived. The lofts have an urban feel but are also very cozy. There is a workout room and beautiful lobby. Theres nothing to dislike about he Motor Wheel Lofts.
|Recommended: YesReally love it — I really love this place. It would be better if underground parking spots were assigned, but the staff is incredibly quick to address issues and I literally have never heard my neighbors since moving in. Everyone that I have over thinks that this apartment complex is awesome - very classy and well-maintained.
|Recommended: YesGreat for a single female — It's really nice and I love it, especially the attached heated garage
|Recommended: YesOne of the best... — I have lived a lot of places. Apartments and condos in cities all over the United States.
Without a doubt I have found Motor Wheel to be one of the most affordable luxury options in Lansing, and one of the best managed properties I have ever lived in.
The staff are unassuming and welcoming not always the case with urban luxury places . The maintenance requests are addressed promptly. And the facility itself is a gem.
While I park in the garage, I do not when I have visitors that parking is often restricted and inconvenient for my guests. This is the one downside to MWL in my opinion.

|Recommended: YesA unique, urban living experience. — Motor Wheel Lofts--I have lived here since 2012 and I am happy to be part of this diverse residential community. I love it here My neighbors are heart surgeons, law students, tech geeks, business owners and nurses--a wide ranging demographic within a equally diversified neighborhood.
I am proud to be living in a repurposed historic building in Michigan's State Capital. Motor Wheel Lofts is located halfway between downtown Lansing and Old Town. In less than 10 minutes, to the east, I can be at The Broad Art Museum, on the campus of Michigan State University, or the Lansing Mall to the west. The location is amazing, with quick access to all local expressways and within minutes of the area's finest restaurants and shopping.
The building is spectacular, with its spacious contemporary lobby and common areas, well appointed exercise spa and secure heated underground parking facility. Original polished concrete floors and 13-foot exposed, rustic concrete ceilings and structural beams contrast with the architecture's contemporary interior which displays large scale, original artwork, in its public area. The spacious, naturally lit, private living spaces have energy-efficient systems and appliances and the pet-friendly building has its own recycling center. The maintenance staff is attentive as well as friendly, and the grounds are meticulously cared for. I feel at home here and enjoy seeing the look on guests faces as they discover this wonderful, historic, urban living space.
Yes, I like it here at Motor Wheel Lofts and am proud to call this my home.

|Recommended: YesExcellent place to live — I couldn't think of a place I would rather live. My only critique is that sometimes I wish it was easier to get a hold of maintenance, i.e. call them instead of going online
|Recommended: YesAmazing Apartments — I have lived at the Motor Wheel Loft since September 1, 2013 and we have enjoyed our stay here. The guys that run the complex are very helpful and attentive to our needs. Everyone including our neighbors are very friendly. We live on the second floor and on rare occasions we can her the people above us, but not enough to bother us at all. We have lived in quite a few places and I must say the is one of the best.
Thanks again,
